Jesus said, Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.” John 16:22
Remembering your family at this difficult time is so clear...it seems it was just yesterday and you all were here in Alaska and sharing all of your earthly happiness with our Cub Scouts; I can see Mark taking our boys on cake walks, adventures through the woods, through the Arrow of Light, and to Camp Gorsuch for memories that will last a life time for our children. Mark, I served as a Committee Chairman with you with Pack 110 through the Western Alaska Council; you presented me with a Tie clasp name “Sunny Side Up”. I still have it to this day and your precious memory will always be with us here in Alaska. You were a true Boy Scout and we will miss your giant adventurous spirit.
Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to your family, Benita and Christopher and Josh and families.
May your precious memories sustain you.....you will be with us in prayer at this very difficult and sad time. May God comfort each of you in the days ahead.

Mark - you were a huge help to me over the years -- you were such an inspiration on "how to do things the right way the first time." Moreover, you were the core of any E3 crew on which I was privileged to serve with you. You busted up hours and hours of boring AWACS alert with your unique style. Thank you, kind sir, for being there for me -- for us -- on countless occasions and in all kinds of circumstances.
