I just heard about Mark's untimely passing. Even though my husband, Bill, and I only knew him for a short period of time, he quickly endeared himself to us by his kindness and caring nature. He will be much missed by us. Maxine Pinson

The first time I met Mark was when I was 11 years old. He was 21 and drove a bright yellow hot rod car. I thought he was the coolest guy on earth!
Faith and I met in 5th grade and became immediately inseparable. Mark used to show us karate moves and make funny jokes. He used to love to tease us and make us laugh.
Something very memorable about him was his laugh! He had an awesome deep laugh and a great smile! He was always very kind to me. I was shocked to hear about his passing.
I remember even when he was in his early twenties he had to battle his diabetes everyday. His memory lives on and he is in a very special place now.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family. I love all of you.

My sister loved him because he became a good friend and a good person to her. He was her only friend that truly understood Jackie . She is distraught. Jackie said " I loved him so much, Joanne, he cared about Jesus and animals and me! I miss him. I have no one like him in my life.

Jessica and Faith,
May you be comforted by what Jesus told Martha when her brother died:
"Jesus said to her: I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life." John 11:25

Mark was as classmate of mine at Savannah Country Day. I had lost contact with him for about twenty years and met him at Jury Duty one day. I hired him to remodel my office. He did superior work and it was wonderful re-kindling an old friendship. He was perhaps the most polite person I knew. I hate that he has passed at such a young age. I will miss him and extend my sympathy to his friends and family.

I'm so sorry to hear about Mark. I got to know him through the coffee bar at Savannah Christian Church. He would always order a coffee & a bagel and split it with his dad. He was so friendly and outgoing and will be missed.
