Mark Boyd Oak, 56, passed away August 16, 2014. Visitation is 12:00 - 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 20th at the McGilley Antioch Chapel. Graveside services are 2:30PM Wednesday at the Winston Cemetery, Winston, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the . Mark was born January 31, 1958 to Clyde Winfred and Josephine Lea Oak in Kansas City, MO. He was a 1976 graduate of Winnetonka High School and trained in HVAC at Vatterott and Sullivan Institute. Mark was employed by Kansas City's Aviation Department for 23 years. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children as well as hunting and farming. His parents preceded him in death.

Survivors include his children Mark Boyd Oak, II, Jeremy Clyde Oak, Steven Charles Oak and Christina LeeAnn Oak; brother Jon Oak and his wife, Karen; sisters, Regina Oak, Paula Oak, Kelly Willis and her husband, James; and nieces and nephews, Amanda Willis, Jessica Willis, James Willis and Jon Patrick Oak.
