I was reading the Mur-Mur (Memorial Hospital Auxiliary newsletter) today, and was so saddened to read Marlene had passed away. She and I served together on the auxiliary board at Memorial Hospital and I always enjoyed her sense of humor and admired her devotion to the work of the auxiliary. She had so much empathy for all the patients she came into contact with and was an excellent role model for all of us. She will certainly be missed by many. My sympathy to the family.

I am so sorry for your loss. Marlene was a very sweet, loving, and caring lady. She was very kind to my Aunt Sharon when she lost her husband. She would sit with her at St Paul's Church, take her to brunch, and bring her back to her apartment many times. I will miss talking to her. I just heard of her passing today from my mother since we were on vacation. I will keep you all in our prayers.

I looked forward to seeing Marlene each week at church and monthly at BSP and St. Paul Womens Guild meetings. Marlene was a very pleasant lady. She always smiled.
