BEST, Marsha L., 64 of Knoxville, died Monday, February 7, 2011, after a long illness. Preceded in death by husband, Don L. Best, and parents, Marshall and Bobbie McMillan. Survived by: step-daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and Keith Robinson; granddaughters, Alex and Lindsey Robinson of Knoxville; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Robert Totten of Rock, WV; sister, Pamela McMillan; and sister Tina McMillan and partner, Cheri Roop, all of Knoxville. Also survived by niece and nephew-in-law, Lisa and Gerard Hughes of Clarksville, TN.; aunt and uncle, June and Bill Heydel of Lebanon, TN.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Loretta Best of Knoxville, and Brenda and Ernie Medlin of Maryville; niece, Cindy Best Johnson and husband, Tom; many other nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends; and her beloved kitty, Matilda. Marsha was a successful business executive and entrepreneur. She was the owner of the Glass Bazaar China and Gourmet Store in Knoxville for many years, and also founded and managed a number of tourist-based businesses in the mountains of West Virginia. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Mercy Residential Hospice, 7447 Andersonville Pike, Knoxville, TN., 37938. Service will be Friday, February 11, 2011, at 2:30 pm, at Sherwood Chapel, with Rev. Larry K. Best officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2:30 prior to the service. Interment to follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Sherwood Chapel & Memorial Gardens is honored to serve the Best family.
