Martha Rita Breaux, 58, died Monday, May 15, 2017, in a local hospital.
She was a lifelong resident of the Sulphur-Vinton area. She attended Saint Joseph Catholic Church of Vinton. Martha loved music, singing, and dancing the night away.
Martha is survived by her husband, Steven Breaux Jr.; four children, Kristina Shreeve and husband Allen of Starks, Kimberly Welker and husband John of Sulphur, Steven Ceaser Breaux III, of Lake Charles, and Dianna Vidrine and husband Jared of Sulphur; five grandchildren, Dakota Breaux, Kierra Welker, Emily Nabours, Briley Vidrine and Kennedy Vidrine; one sister, Dianna Meaux; and one brother, Roy Milliman. She is preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Alpha Joseph Milliman and Lloyd Edward Milliman.
A Celebration of Martha's Life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 18, in Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton, led by Jody Barrilleaux, Celebrant. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 - 10 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Thursday in the funeral home. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
