Martha "Marti" Siracusa Calvert, was born on July 13, 1946 and died on October 8, 2016. Marti was a retired R.N. at St. Joseph and St. Francis hospitals and then St. Peter Villa. She was preceded in death by her parents Anthony & Gelia Siracusa. She is survived by her husband of 29 years James C. Calvert; brother Anthony Siracusa, Jr., and sisters Mary Ann Alley and Marcella Brady. The family will receive guests on Wednesday, from 10AM until funeral mass begins at 11am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at 3PM at Sunset Cemetery in Dresden, Tennessee. Donations may be made in Marti's name to the charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences may be given at www.memphisfuneralhome.net.

May the Lord of heaven and earth keep Martha forever close to His heart. She is in perfect peace, free from all pain and sorrow. Her time on earth was spent in helping others and she has merited eternal glory. Heaven has welcomed her, the angels and saints are happy to have her there with all those whom she loved who has gone before her. We shall miss her magical smile and winsome personality.
