Martha C. Flory, 89, of Jewell, Ohio passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at The Laurels of Defiance. She was born on December 29, 1922 in Ridgeville Township to Fredrick and Pauline (Wesche) Kruse.
She married Robert L. Flory on October 12, 1940 and he passed away on October 7, 1986.
Martha was a homemaker. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Stryker, Ohio and the Jewell American Legion Auxiliary.
Martha is survived by three sons, Robert (Connie) Flory of Defiance, Thomas (Carolyn) Flory of Jewell, and Terry (Patty) Flory of Jewell; 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; brother Charles Kruse of Ayersville; daughter-in-law Terri Flory of Defiance.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a son David Flory and two sisters Marie Plassman and Doris Nagel.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at the Church.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at St. John Lutheran Church of Stryker with Rev. Dale Kern, Officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family has suggested that memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church Building Fund or a charity of the donor's choice.
