Every time you were with Martha, you would learn something new! I was her hairdresser for nearly 20 years. She always had the most interesting stories to share. Martha was so knowledgeable in so many areas. I loved hearing about her childhood and growing up on the farm. My Grandmother and her shared the same birthday, and year. That provided an extra special place in my heart for Martha....you will be missed.

Martha and I met volunteering at the Dayton Art Institute. We shared some early morning "greeter shifts" during the Eternal China Exhibit, and many other exhibits/events after that. She was a retired school teacher who was more active than most people I know. She always had a positive outlook, a sense of fun and adventure, an excitement to learn about new things, and a great story to share! I will miss our chats and her wonderful, fun stories. She was a truly remarkable person and kindred spirit and she will be missed. I am so very glad I had the great fortune to know her over these last years.

Martha was a wonderful friend for 45 years! I enjoyed her wit and story telling abilities as well as the fact that she always had a smile on her face for everyone. We played bridge together for years, traveled together and I thoroughly enjoyed our friendship. Martha loved and was very proud of her family - talked about their doings and achievements and shared photos. I will miss Martha but will always remember her and our great times together.

May you rejoice in the wonderful memories of your joyful times together with Martha.
Martha was a dedicated tutor in my 3rd gr. class at Englewood Elementary for several years. With her warmth and caring she helped many students; some who really needed that extra attention. I always looked forward to having her assistance and seeing her smile and cheerfulness every week.
