Martin Lingner, age 88, of Chicago, Illinois passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 3rd. He was a devoted husband, a loving father and a caring brother, uncle and friend. He lived and worked in Chicago, but spent the summer months with his Family at their home in Wisconsin on Powers Lake where he lived out his remaining days after the passing of his beloved wife.
Martin was Born in Sighisoara, Romania. He was proceeded in death by his son Martin and his wife, Susi. He will be loved and missed by those who were left behind. His sister Gerda, and his Sons, Dieter (Elizabeth) and Michael (Kasi). He was a loving Grandfather (Opa) to Samantha, Gracie, and Madison.
A memorial Service will be held Tuesday, September 12th, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Drake & Son Funeral Home, 5303 N Western Ave. Chicago.
