Obituary

Martin S. Belefant passed away on April 22, 2011. Marty leaves behind Eva, his beloved wife of 59 years, his devoted son Peter, his loving brother Arthur and sister-in-laws Margot Cranley and Rita and his lifelong friends. Marty loved his practice as a CPA and tax attorney and was respected and appreciated by his clients and colleagues. Marty served his country with distinction in WW II in the 99th Infantry Division. He was taken prisoner of war at the Battle of the Bulge and was later awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. Services Tuesday, April 26th, 11AM at Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Home, Scarsdale. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.
