I'm not a good speaker in situations like this. About all I can say is I had a great Love for Marty. Always Loved being around him. Was so proud of him when we talked him in to running for sen. class president and He didn't think He could do it. He was one proud young man when He won. He was humble and just didn't know the people who Loved him and I was one of those people. LOL, You could tell him anything and He would never tell it. He may tell you "know you shouldn't be doin that but would never let it go any farther than you and Him. I Love you marty and gonna miss you bad. But I will see you again someday You was an angel that God let us barrow for a lil while to show us how to Love people and how to treat all people the same. Until we meet again I will think of u often VERY OFTEN.

Marty, the world will not be the same without you in it. I am certain I have never met a more genuinely loving and caring person than you. I will always hold my memories of you close to my heart, and I know in the future, when I think of you I will smile. You were always good at making people smile, and you will continue to be, even though you are no longer here with us. Now you & my Dad can talk about music and motorcycles together again, and pick up where you left off. To the family, how proud you must be to know that you had a son & brother who did not have an enemy in this whole world. You are blessed to have been able to call him yours. He was truly an angel on this earth, and now he is one in heaven... a very cool angel, I might add. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I loved Marty dearly. He was the sweetest cousin to me. My childhood memories of Marty are priceless and I will treasure all the moments I was able to spend with him. He was so so funny and always made me smile! Whenever we came to visit, Marty welcomed us with all the love in the world. He just had that special way of bringing happiness to everyone he spoke to. I also loved how Marty was so protective of all his family and just wanted to make sure everyone was alright. He cared that much for all of us. He will be so missed but I feel very blessed for the time spent with him. Sending my love to the Cox family and my deepest and sincere sympathy to his mother. Marty will never be forgotten. God has an angel in his arms now. Love you Marty!

Sadness can not even begin to express how I felt when I read about your passing. You were always so energetic and full of life and made the class of 1988 stand and cheer. You had a fire inside your spirit like no other. I can imagine you in heaven, cheering and getting everyone excited about coming inside. My sympathy to the parents of Marty.....you did a great job with raising him. He was truly a wonderful, caring person. He will be missed.
