To Marvelle's family, my sincere sympathy for your loss. I had the pleasure of knowing Marvelle for several years in the orchid society. She has been one of the most knowledgable, sincere and caring people I have ever known. Her friendly and sincere face has left an empty place in our group. She will be greatly missed. I didn't know Marvelle very long, but she was a very sweet lady and I enjoyed the way too brief time I got to spend with her. Blessings to her family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Marvelle was an asset to the Ventura County Orchid Society. She was knowledgeable in the growing and care of orchids and did not hesitate to offer advice for ailing orchids. She participated in our orchid sales and would drive me nuts when she priced her orchids for dollars and 95 cents. I will miss her. Dearly. My sincerely condolences to the family. Jeri Bond
