Marvin "Mardy" Harold Anderson resident of New Berlin, WI passed away peacefully at Waukesha Memorial Hospital on October 23, 2012 at age 84. Born in North Fond du Lac on September 25, 1928. He was the son of Esther and Harold Bitters Anderson. He was married to Susan Patricia Kline on April 21, 1956. Sue preceded him in death on June 29, 2000. Also preceding him death were his parents, one brother, Bernard Anderson; one sister, Delight Sweeney. Marvin "Mardy" Harold Anderson resident of New Berlin, WI passed away peacefully at Waukesha Memorial Hospital on October 23, 2012 at age 84. Born in North Fond du Lac on September 25, 1928. He was the son of Esther and Harold Bitters Anderson. He was married to Susan Patricia Kline on April 21, 1956. Sue preceded him in death on June 29, 2000. Also preceding him death were his parents, one brother, Bernard Anderson; one sister, Delight Sweeney. Mardy is survived by two sons, Daniel Voigt and special friend, Linda Shapleigh of Salisbury, N.C. and Mark T. Anderson and special friend, Sharlot Bogart, of Sun Prairie, WI; and one granddaughter, Owen Elisabeth Voigt (Rick) Hayes of Portland, ME. Also surviving is one sister, Carol (Don) Marschall of Rosendale, WI; one brother-in-law, Edward Sweeney of Norwood, MA; and one sister-in-law, Betty Anderson of Brookfield, WI. He is further survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mardy was a member of the Heritage Presbyterian Church in Muskego, WI where he was a long time choir member and past elder. He also took part in a large community Choir in Hales Corners, WI where they entertained at various events, including Nursing Homes and Retirement Centers. He loved following all types of sports, including baseball, football, basketball and golf. In his later years, he enjoyed playing golf with friends and relatives. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II, stationed in Korea. And later worked in Auto Sales in the Milwaukee area.

Visiting hours will be from 4:30 to 7:30 PM on Friday, October 26, 2012 at the Schramka Borgwardt Funeral Home 11030 W. Forest Home Ave. Hales Corners, WI. Funeral Services will be held at Heritage Presbyterian Church (S63 W13761 College Ave. Muskego, WI) on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 11 AM (visitation 10 AM to 11 AM). In lieu of flowers, memorials will be directed to Heritage Presbyterian Church.
