Obituary

Marvin E. Barnes, age 60 and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, August 2, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Rachel Barnes and brother Bill Barnes. Mr. Barnes was employed with Olin Corporation as a Project Engineer for over 30 years. He loved woodworking, fishing, building clocks and restoring antique guns. He will be remembered by his family as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved family time especially time with his grandsons. He is survived by his loving wife Nancy, children and grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. A memorial celebration of life service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 6:00 p.m. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-mobile.com. Arrangements under the direction of Radney Funeral Home-Mobile, Mobile, AL.
