I am so sorry...Mary Alice and her family were very dear to me since I was a little neighboring girl at Weldon. Our families would walk down that hot dusty road and share gallons of ice cream during the summer. Loved to spend the night with Eleanor and eat some of Mrs. Rea's biscuits and sip that sassafras tea at breakfast. Precious memories! Remembering the good times!
