.Mary Ann Davenport, 82, of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017. Mary Ann was a member of Hillcrest United Methodist Church and served as the Organist for 60 years. She worked with Doug Dickey managing sky boxes at Neyland Stadium and worked at Lee Mitchell Insurance Co for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by parents, Hubert and Mable Davenport and brother, James Davenport. Mary Ann is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Mark Houser; special cousins, Barbara Barton, Monte and Rocky Stanley, Carolyn Kendrick, and Bob Tant; uncle, Charles Stanley; special friend, Mary Lou Tipton and Arzelia Allen. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Knox County Animal Shelter, 3323 Division Street, Knoxville, Tennessee 37920. Family will receive friends Monday, May 15, 2017 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Memorial Service will follow at 8:00pm with Rev. Richard Richter officiating. Condolences may be offered at www.berryfuneralhome.com
