I was so sorry to hear of Mary Ann's untimely death. I worked with Mary Ann part-time. She was the kindest and most caring person I had the privilege of working with. There wasn't a day that would go by that she would tell me funny stories about her sons. I know she will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. I am now living in West Virginia since the passing of my husband. My heartfelt condolences go out to her family. Anita (musick) Witten

I just wanted to express my sorrow for your loss. Mary Ann was a gift to everyone who knew her. I feel privileged for having had the opportunity to be her friend. She was a kind and gracious presence during the turmoil of law school. To her friends, she was a listening ear, a brilliant mind, and a hilariously funny commentator on the absurdities of life. She was as grounded as she was beautiful. She was, I know, a devoted daughter, a loyal and loving wife, and an amazing mother to her family. Losing Mary Ann is true sorrow. I send her family my thoughts and prayers.

Words cannot express the loss I feel. One of my closest and dearest friends since second grade. Mary Ann had such a fantastic sense of humour and a big heart. Wouldn't think twice about helping out in a pinch with whatever I needed. MA and I could be in a crowd of people and something would be said and we would look at each other and be thinking the same thought and laugh, laugh, laugh....I will miss her dearly.

Joe, John and Lisa, and Kay,
I was extremely upset to learn the news of Mary Ann's untimely passing. I was talking to dad just a few weeks ago and he mentioned how he and Jack and Kay used to play tennis and that got me to thinking about all the time I spent with John at the house back in the day, and a ton of great childhood memories came flooding back. Words are meaningless, but know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. May God bless you all during this difficult time.
