Mary Ellen Stauber, 88, of Lynchburg, widow of James Delbert Stauber, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was rejoined with her beloved husband, Wednesday, October 18, 2017.
Mary was a long time Sunday school teacher at Thomas Road Baptist Church, and retired from the Call Center at Liberty University.
She is survived by her children, Bonnie Harper, Thomas W. Stauber, Lisa Jennings and husband, Jeff, and Angie Baunach; grandchildren, Wendy Davis, Elizabeth Lacy, Sherri Wagurak, Crystal Machhi, Kellie Baunach, and Johnny Baunach; great grandchildren, Peyton, Madison, Rider, Lily, Brayden, Landon, Kolten, Star, Oakley, Dillion, Blake, and Alley.
A graveside service will be conducted, 11:00 a.m. Monday October 23, 2017 at Fort Hill Memorial Park by the Rev. Dave Heerspink.
Those wishing to make memorial contributions are ask to consider the needs of the family.
