Aunt Kathy was such a joy when I was growing up. She provided me with books to read and encouraged my art work when I was young. Later, I baby sat my cousins for her and always enjoyed being at her home! She was always fun and had such a zest for life. As an adult, I haven't been able to visit with her very often in person, but we talked often on the phone and she kept me in the loop with our extended family- especially after my father, Clyde Griffin, passed away.
I will truly miss her! I will keep everyone in my prayers.

In the short time that I knew Kathy, I noticed that every time I saw her she had a laugh and a smile for me. I enjoyed her stories of her family and travels. Her adventurous spirit took her all around the world and it inspires me to have the same curiosity that she had to see what's out there.
She was a wonderful mom to her son and Rachel's uncle, Ernie, and a great stepmother to Rachel's dad, Danny, and aunt Teresa. Rachel truly loved Kathy and will her miss "Gma" dearly. Kathy was a source strength for her and a caring light that helped Rachel become who she is today. Kathy cared for and loved her family. She was such a joy to be around and will be so very deeply missed.

What an amazing Lady! Growing up I heard the stories, all the tall tales. As I went on my journey caring for my father before he pasted,I had the privilege to hear the stories first hand. I hold that time close to my heart. She was funny and always smiling but don't think twice about stating her opinion.I love her so!! Triniti and Jozy also have a special place in there heart for Kathy and will pass the stories down to the generations to come. My thoughts and prayer to all that was blessed to have known such a beautiful person! You to Barb...I love you!
