Mrs. Mary Frances Owens Anderson, 93, a resident of PineApple, Al passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2014. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014 from the Jenkins Chapel Methodist Church with Rev. Willie Crawford and Rev. J.W. Land officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetey. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, Al directing arrangements. Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Ziba D. Anderson her parents Frances Elizabeth Owens and Rufus Kolb Owens, 7 Siblings, her grandson, Gregory Lewis Oakley III, son in law, Johnny Hines, and her special sister in law, Louise Brantley Owens. Survivors include 4 Daughters, Frances Elaine (Jim) Linga, Auburn, Al, Charlene Hines, Beatrice, Al, Linda (Daniel) Pearson, Cullman, Al, and Margaret (Mike) Brown, Beatrice, Al; Son: Ziba McGowin (Pennye) Anderson, Andalusia, Al. Mrs. Anderson had 11 Grand Children 21 Great Grand Children and 22 Great Great Grand Children. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Jenkins Chapel Cemetery Fund, 2512 Owens Road, PineApple, Al 36786. Visitation will be Saturday from 2 p.m. until funeral time at Jenkins Chapel Methodist Church. Online condolences can be made at www.johnsongeorgiana.com.
