Mary was positive and smiling each time we had time together, a tribute to her loving manner and pride in her close family bonds. Our thoughts to everyone who enjoyed Mary's full life in this time of reflection of her impact on so many family and friends.

Never met Mary but if her grandson Chris Rohl is any indication of her character she must have been a great lady.

Imagine our surprise when we found out that there was another family who had nine children in it and was Catholic and the Mother was just as wonderful as ours. That is the way we felt when the Rohl's met the Archer's. Our brother Bill and their sister, Teresa who were both the oldest of these two families fell in love and wed many years ago. Our families have shared many birthdays, graduations, and weddings ever since. Mary always was there with her infectious smile and laugh. She was one of the most sweetest angelic ladies I have ever met. As others have said, I am sure that heaven welcomed her with open arms. Our love and prayers go out to the Archer Family on this great loss. Love to each of you, Bob and Cathy (Rohl) Metz

To Mary's Family. I've known Mary over 30 years and have marveled at her beautiful attitude and humor while enduring total blindness. I remember one time when she came to Florida, she asked me to tell her which was the ashtray and which was the coffee, cause she didn;t want to put ashes in her coffee. She was always upbeat. She's been in my thoughts so much these past ten days...she will be missed by so many. Katie McClain, St. Petersburg,

I first met Mary when Pat and I were just 5 years old, soon after I transferred to Miller Elementary School and Pat invited me over after school for a play date. I'll never forget sitting at that huge kitchen table (it had to feed a brood after all) eating tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches on a rainy day and thinking how odd that there was another Archer family in town and in my neighborhood. I sat at that kitchen table many times over the years and no matter how many mouths there were to feed, you were always welcome. Mary was kind, compassionate, generous and had a wonderful, heartfelt laugh. I remember her laughing to the point of tears one time as she sat peeling potatoes at that table after I naively told her we were going to have yeast for Thanksgiving. It became a long-standing favorite story that we'd share over the years when I'd see her again. I feel as if Mary helped raise me and my heart breaks knowing she is no longer with us. She was truly a beautiful soul. I'm sure heaven welcomed her with open arms. My love and sympathy to all the "other" Archers. May she rest in peace. Michele, John and Noah Madole

Dearest Archer family, It's with great sadness I write you upon your sweet mom's passing! We all spent such wonderful times in our neighborhood as kids! I remember between the Hardwick's and Archer's the kick the can game on Anderson Street could take all night! Your mom was a true American with all she did for her family and community! Please know my wife Claudia and my thoughts are with you! Peace and God bless!!! Your old pal, Dick Hardwick, Fullerton, CA
