Mary E. (Terceiro) Baiocchi, age 90, of Somerset, died Tuesday, August 21, 2012 in Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Bruno P. Baiocchi.
Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Manuel Terceiro and Elizabeth (Demski) Butler, she lived in Fall River until moving to Somerset in 1961.
She was a seamstress at the former Merit Manufacturing Company in Fall River for many years before retiring. An accomplished seamstress, she enjoyed knitting, sewing, gardening, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters; Elizabeth "Betty" Collins and her longtime partner Margot Desjardins of Westport, and Phyllis Rutkowski of Swansea, six grandchildren; David Collins, Michael Collins, Frankie Rutkowski, Jeffrey Collins, Deborah Martin, and Danny Rutkowski, ten great-grandchildren; Nicholas, Rachel, Christopher, Elora, Olivia, Henry, Alec, Amber, Kaylin, and Sophie.
Her Funeral will be held Friday, August 24, 2012 at 9:00AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at BIRCHCREST 189 Gardner's Neck Rd., Swansea, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM in St. Thomas More Church, 386 Luther Ave., Somerset. Visiting hours Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00PM. Burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River.

Liz - please know that our hearts are with you. Viewing the photos it is easy to see the smile and love your mom received from the grandchildren. Though it has been many years since I had met your mom, I can close my eyes and see her with you at school activities. May the Lord give you memories that will never fade.
