I was so shocked to hear of Mary's passing. She cared for both of my parents in their final years, but she was much more than a caregiver. She was a strength to each of them, someone they could count on, and lean on: she was a true friend, to them as well as to me. She was a blessing in our lives and will always hold a place in our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

God looked around his Garden and found an empty place. He then looked down upon his earth and saw your loving face.He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. His Garden must be beautiful ,he always takes the best.He knew that you were suffering ,he knew you were in pain. And knew that you would never get well on earth again. He saw your path was difficult he closed your tired eyes,He whispered to you "Peace be Thine" and gave you wings to fly. When we saw you sleeping so calm and free of pain, We would not wish you back to earth to suffer once again. You've left us precious memories, your love will be our guide, You live on through your children, you're always by our side. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone. For part of us went with you on the day God called you home.

I will really miss Mary! I talked to her often from the office at work. Often she would stop in on the way to or from a client. Her humor brightened my day! The first time I met her was as I was starting a shift at a client I had never been to before. Her shift was just ending and she gave me the info and help that I needed to help that client. Even when it meant that she had to stay longer. She gave me her phone number if I needed any more help. When my husband passed away she brought me flowers to the office and a card that said " God told me to do this, so I did." I will really miss Mary!! Diane Wagner (coworker)

We are sad to learn of Mary's passing and want to extend our sympathies to the entire family. We did not get the chance to know Mary for long, but as an employee of Comfort Keepers she provided kind and supportive care to our mother. Her warmth and dedication made a big difference to us. Please know that you are all in our prayers.
