Mary "Granny" Bolin, 75, Kokomo, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2013, at her home. She was born June 21, 1938, in Sikeston, Missouri, to Walter and Anna (Beatty) Bolin.
She retired from General Motors and was a member of local UAW 292 and FOP. She liked traveling and going to the Saturday morning breakfast club. She was an avid Colts fan and Coke collector and was a supporter of We Care. She enjoyed being with her family and cherished her grandchildren.
She is survived by son, Greg (Julie) Wohlford; daughters, Teressa King, Brenda (Stacy) Pratt, and Paula Richey; sister, Edna Barnette; grandchildren, Randy (Michelle) McCoy, Brandy (Joshua) Rose, Amanda (Travis) Ploughe, Christopher (Ashleigh) Pratt, Matthew (Amanda) Wohlford, Samantha (Zach) Rudolph, Jessica (Devin) Neveu, and Jason Richey; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur L. Wohlford; two brothers; four sisters; and a great-grandchild and special angel, Hunter LeeAnn McCoy.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday at First Baptist Church, 310 W. Taylor, Kokomo, IN 46901. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. on Thursday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to We Care or First Baptist Church in Mary's name. Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. Thank you for all your kind words. We as a family, are doing good, but as anyone would know, death is never easy for anyone. We are thankful for her being in her home surrounded by her family. She has Angel wings now and is rejoicing with the Lord. Praise to Him in the highest.

To The Family,I was a co-worker of Mary,we used to have a lot of fun at work,she made my day.I don't live in the area anymore,so I hadn't seen her since retirement,i will miss her laughs,and teasing,she was a very nice lady.May our Lord comfort you as you greive,may the many memories you shared with her bring you comfort in the days ahead,she wil be greatly missed by all.
