Mary Brooks Obituary

Mary Louise Brooks was born to Henning and Mary Johnson on April 11, 1926 in Westminster, Colorado. She died February 13, 2014 in Canon City, Colorado. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, Hiram, Paul, Ralph, Marion, Harry and Raymond; her husband, Gene and her son, Paul. Mary spent most of her life in Aurora until moving to Canon City where she lived for 17 years. She was a member of the Evangelical Free Church having been a charter member of the Montview Evangelical Free Church (Now New Life Church) in Aurora. She is survived by her son, Gene; her two daughters, Donna and Charlene and their husbands; fifteen grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the Evangelical Free Church of Canon City on February 20, 2014 at 10:00am. Interment will take place on Friday, February 21, 2014 at 12:15pm at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver. A special Thank you to the Hildebrand Care Center for their kind and loving care of our mother over the last three years.
