Mary Anne Hensley, 80, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, July 5, 2010. She was born on January 25, 1930 in Stillwater, Oklahoma; she was the first of four children born to Lenna Floyd Reid and Lynn Allen "Arky" Reid. Anne was preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law, Eugene Hensley. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a true friend to many, Anne is leaving us with many wonderful memories to cherish forever. Mary Anne Hensley, 80, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, July 5, 2010. She was born on January 25, 1930 in Stillwater, Oklahoma; she was the first of four children born to Lenna Floyd Reid and Lynn Allen "Arky" Reid. Anne was preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law, Eugene Hensley.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a true friend to many, Anne is leaving us with many wonderful memories to cherish forever. She enjoyed life to the fullest and her outlook was always positive and upbeat.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Jack Hensley; daughter, Lenna Hensley Burton and husband Bobby of Ashland, Oregon; son, John Hensley and wife, Trix of Houston; three grandchildren, Steven Hensley and wife Heidi; Lauren Hensley Tyler and husband Vince; and Reid Hensley; four great grandchildren, Trevor, Justin, Brooke, and Hope Hensley; sisters Jo Staggs (husband, Billy Ray) and Dot Waller (husband, Dudley) and brother Jim Reid (and wife, Jane); along with a host of other family members and friends.

A celebration of Anne's life will be held Saturday, July 10th at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Memorial Oaks Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Burt Palmer officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to The American Cancer Society.
