My sympathy in your loss. Mary was a bridesmaid in the wedding of my mother, Margaret Yokiel Wanzek, and father George Wanzek, from Wells, if I remember correctly. We are related on the Schultz side. My grandma was Regina Schultz Yokiel and grandpa was Ignatius Yokiel. We all used to live in Wells. I live in Palm Springs, CA, now. I knew Raphael and Ruth and their kids, and Margaret Voigt and others in your family. My mother died in 1993 from ALS and my dad in 1980 of a heart attack. Thoughts and prayers to you.

You have the most beautiful soul of anyone that I will ever know. I love you so much grandma. You were an angel on earth and now you are one forever in Heaven. I will never meet another human than can match your humility, compassion, generosity, kindness, or love. Everyone that knew you, adored you and we are all better people because of you. I will forever miss your twinkling eyes, amazing hugs, warming smile, and sharp-as-a-tack personality. Whether you knew it or not, you have been the biggest influence and role model in my life and I can only hope that someday I can be as amazing as you. I'm so grateful I was able to see you one last time, look into those beautiful blue eyes and tell you how much I love you and how much you mean to me. I will keep that memory close. That and so many other great memories will help soften the pain I feel, but nothing will ever replace the hole in my heart left behind by your absence. Your new home is in our hearts and it comforts me to know that you are with grandpa for eternity. I'm awaiting the day when I will see you both again, until then, I will love you and miss you everyday. Rest in peace my sweet grandma. Love, your Jenna

I am so sorry about your mom. She was the sweetest of all of our moms and the best cook too. I remember coming over to your house after school and there would always be cookies hot from the oven ready to eat. I feel blessed to have been a part of your family growing up on Flandrau St.
Know that we are thinking of you all at this time of great loss.

To all of the Merry family, I am deeply sorry for your loss.
Mary was, by far, the kindest, most genuine woman I have ever known. I remember growing up in the neighborhood and never hearing a loud word from her. With all of the kids in the neighborhood, she probably had a lot she could have yelled about! I can remember all of the excellent lunches she made for me and the tree planting crews all the years I worked for them. She made a certain onion dip that I just love and have tried to duplicate, but with no success. You can be assured that Mary was loved by all that knew her. She raised a great family that loved and adored her. It made me feel special that some of my last visits with her on Flandrau Street, she still called me "Dickie Bird. Heaven will be a better place because they truly have a new Saint. I will never forget her smile and her soft spoken voice. Rest in peace, Mary.
