Mary Newhouse, of Pearl River, NY passed away April 3, 2013 at age 76. Mary was the beloved daughter of the late Ludwig and Susi Behr of Hamburg, Germany. . Mary was a school teacher for the New York City Board of Education and a longtime member of the Nanuet Hebrew Center. She is survived by her cherished son Lawrence Levi Newhouse (wife Noelle Letcher Newhouse) and her adoring grandson Simon Jacob Newhouse. She is also survived by many loving cousins and dear friends. Mary is predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph and a son Scott. Funeral service today 11:00 at Hellman Memorial Chapels, 15 State Street, Spring Valley, NY 10977. Interment to follow at Cedar Park Cemetery in Westwood, NJ.
