Mary L. Pittman DEQUINCY- Mary L. Pittman, 67, passed away February 2, 2013 in a local hospital. She was born in Gurdon, AR and lived in DeQuincy. She worked for Kroger as a General Manager in the Pharmacy Department and received a Bachelor of Science in nursing at University of Arkansas in Little Rock. She is survived by her husband, Paul Pittman of DeQuincy; son, Paul Pittman Jr. of DeQuincy; daughters, Ellen Horne of Gonzales, LA and Mary A. Pittman of DeQuincy; sister, Eileen Lee of Ft. Hood, TX; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Lois Airhart; son, David Eli Pry Her...

Her funeral will be 11am, Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Hixson-Snider Funeral Home. The Rev. Greg Cavanaugh will officiate. Visitation will begin Wednesday 5pm-9pm and resume Thursday 8am until service time. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
