Sanders, Mary Pope, of Knoxville, beloved daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend, passed away suddenly December 26, 2012, at her home. Mary was a graduate of the University of Tennessee and a member of the First Baptist Church of Knoxville. She was employed as Office Administrator and Computer Manager at the First United Methodist Church of Oak Ridge. Preceded in death by her father, Reverend Robert Andrew Sanders. She is survived by mother, Mary Elizabeth Sanders, brother and sister-in-law, Charles Stephen and Royce Ann Sanders, and nephew, Robert Clinton Sanders. The family will receive friends at First United Methodist Church of Oak Ridge on Sunday, December 30, 2012, from 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM with a funeral service to follow, Rev. Dr. Stella Roberts officiating. Family and friends will meet Monday, December 31, 2012, at 10:45 AM at Highland Memorial Cemetery, Sutherland Avenue, for an 11:00 AM graveside service.
