Biography

Mary Louise Wyro, 87, of Bishop, Texas passed away Thursday, October 28, 2010 following a short illness. A homemaker and longtime member of the Church of Christ, she was born March 15, 1923 to Dolphus Porter Mustain and Mary Ellen (Hastings) Mustain in Supulpa, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by three sisters, two brothers and parents. She preferred to be called Louise or by her nickname, Measie. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Peter H. Wyro of Bishop; her son, Peter L. (Mary Jane) Wyro of Alice, Texas; daughters, Wanda (Lee) Johnson of Live Oak, Texas and Connie (Philip) Felder of Bishop; grandchildren, Peter L. (Lara) Wyro Jr. of Norman, Oklahoma, Bradley Scott Wyro of Fort Worth, Angela M. Wyro of Kingsville, Margaret (Neal) Hebert of Canyon Lake, Theresa (Mike) DeSha of Dallas, Michael DeSha of San Antonio, Connie Francis DeSha of San Antonio, Matthew R. Felder of Bishop and Timothy (Amanda) Felder of Corpus Christi; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 31, 2010 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 1, 2010 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with Brother Clif Abshier, pastor of First Baptist Church, Bishop, officiating.
