The graveside Service for Mattie Ruth Chancy age 85, of Birmingham, AL; will be Friday, December 2, 2016 at 2 P.M. at Athens City Cemetery.
Mrs. Chancy passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at her residence.
She was born July 21, 1931, in AL to Thomas Coats and Leonia Reece Coats.
She is preceded in death by her husbands Jimmy Legg and Rohnol Chancy and one son Thomas Rabon Legg, 4 sisters, and 1 brother.
She is survived by her son James Donald Legg and wife Brenda, step children Margaret Graywolf, Ronnie Chancy, and Rosemary Chancy, 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
