GARLENT; Maureen Margaret ( Bedford)
Peacefully surrounded by her family at the Douglas Memorial Hospital, Fort Erie on Monday June 30, 2014 in her 72nd year. Daughter of the late Eileen and Bill Bedford. Predeceased by her loving husband Bob Garlent, her son Robert Garlent Jr., niece Julie and nephew Jeff. Loving Mother of Terri-Lynn (Kevin) Needham, Shawn (Lisa) Garlent and daughter-in-law Nikki Garlent. Dear Nana to Robbie, Wylie, Hunter, Holden, Abby-Lynn, Julia and Alivia. Dear sister of Robert (Diane) Bedford, Diane (Clive) Watkins, Brian Bedford and Sheila (Bob) Graham. She will also be remembered by sister-in-law Carol and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Douglas Memorial Hospital and especially to Mark Irwin for making Maureen's final hours very comfortable.
An informal gathering in Celebration of Maureen's life will be held at the "THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL" 96 West Street, on Thursday July 3rd from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the A L S Society or to the Stedman Community Hospice would be appreciated.

Sorry to hear of Maureen's passing I was reading the St Catharines Standard when I saw I saw the the write up and the funeral home listed in Brantford. I lived on Huron Street in the 1950's my name is / was Jean Robinson I lived at 39 Huron St. Maureen was 2 years older than me .
