Maureen Ann Regan was born on June 13, 1959 in Detroit, Michigan to Michael and Suzanne Regan. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Michigan Technological University, as well as a Master's degree in Economics from University of Missouri-Columbia and did doctoral work in economics from the University of Rochester. She was a brilliant individual with a passion for mathematics and real world economic application. Maureen was a Senior Consultant at Hammond Associates for most of her career, before becoming a Principal at Mercer Investments.
She enjoyed sports, reading, travel, music and spending time with her family. She was a dedicated wife and mother and a passionate friend of the Forsyth School where her daughter Mira attends school.
Maureen is survived by her husband Siddhartha Chib, daughter Mira Elizabeth, one sister Kathy Regan and three brothers Paul, Pat and John.
Memorial donations can be made to the Forsyth School for a soon to be created fund honoring Maureen and carrying on her passion for mathematics excellence.
Visitation Wednesday, August 8, 2012, 4-8pm at the Kriegshauser West Mortuary, 9450 Olive Blvd. Olivette, Mo. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 9, 10:00 am at the Christ The King Catholic Church, 7316 Balson Ave. University City, Mo. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
