She was born in Walters, OK, on May 20, 1924 to John and Media Lamkin. She grew up in a small community north of Nocona, Texas where everyone knew her as "Babe ". On March 16, 1947 she married Delma Hudgens, and moved to Grand Prairie, Texas, shortly afterwards. Maurine was a retiree with AAFES in Oak Cliff, Texas. She strove to walk closely with the Lord Jesus Christ and regularly attended First Baptist Church of Grand Prairie. Maurine loved to travel with friends and relatives, and had traveled to every continent except Antarctica and Asia, and to all 50 states in the USA. Her special place, the cabin at Nocona Lake, will miss her unique touches. She leaves behind her beloved daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Lee Raudebaugh of Carrollton; one sister, Marcille Lee of Wichita Falls; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Soar with the angels, Maurine, and we'll catch up with you one sweet day.
