Max was a very special physician and friend to my family, as the surgeon for so many of our family members, as a beloved and trusted colleague to my husband Dr. David Hamm, and a dear and treasured friend to us. We had so many memorable and happy times together with Max and Lia - my love to all the family. Ski hard!!! and love much.

Lia and family, I am so sorry that I cannot be with you tomorrow to honor and remember your beloved Max. He was an awesome mentor, colleague, friend, Hamm family physician, and Trojan with Dave, and we both treasure the time we had with Max. Know that my love and prayers will be with you and the family tomorrow, even as I am on vacation with my family. There is a void in the Trojan family and the Long Beach medical community that can never be filled by another. With much love,
Rose Hamm
