Maxine Ramey Wheeler joined her Lord and Savior Friday, August 17, 2012. She was born April 2, 1924 in Drumright, Oklahoma and attended schools there including Hughes Beauty Academy and Draughons Business College in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She received her Licensed Vocational Nurse Certificate after moving to Midland, Texas. Mrs. Wheeler is survived by one sister, Mrs. Iva Wills and husband Joe of Midland, Texas; nephew, Dr. Larry Wills and niece, Debbie Duncan and husband Shayne. Visitation will be Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Ellis Funeral Home between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2012 at the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel with Clyde Brown officiating.
