Obituary

Suddenly as a result of an accident, on Monday, August 27th, 2012, in her 90th year. Predeceased by her husband Bev. Sadly missed by her sons Ron, Barry (Deborah), and daughter Sandra Chase (George). Survived by sister Berti Ellisson, predeceased by sister Isabel Matley and brother Phelps Chesley. Lovingly remembered by 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Maye was born on October 24th, 1922 in Saskatchewan. She was an active member of St. Mark's United Church, Whitby, RCAF Veteran and member of Whitby Legion Br 112. A Memorial Visitation will be held at St. Mark's United Church (201 Centre St. S., Whitby) on Friday, August 31st from 12:00 noon until time of Service at 1:00 p.m. Donations may be made to St. Mark's United Church or the Durham Regional Cancer Centre. Arrangement entrusted to OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234).
