Dad, You made me the man I am today and that was no small task considering what you had to work with early on. You kept at and you gave me space when i needed it but you also let me know I needed to choose a path and stick with it. I think one of the most ironic things about the 2 of us, that you never really knew was that I moved back to Minnesota at 53 while you moved the family out of this frozen tundra. The part that is exactly the same is that we both did it for our families. I love you Dad!

I was so sorry to hear about Maynard's passing. He was a sweet sweet man and did so much to welcome me to the family! I remember him laughing with Donna and teasing the kids whenever he had a chance! Tom and I brought the kids to Florida when they were little and he and Donna welcomed them like their own grandkids. Much love to you all.

Some of my best memories of Maynard include him building my brother and me rabbit hutches for Easter, fixing up a used bike for my first ride, and letting us mess around in his basement shop (maybe he didn't know). RIP.
