"Once in a while a light shines so bright that it can't possibly burn long. Mays was such a light. He was the kind of person it was impossible to dislike. For those of you who knew him, his eclectic personality and dynamic facial hair made him easy to spot at any event." -Mike Copioli

He is survived by his parents, Mays and Lilly Overton, and his two sisters, Alexis and Patricia, as well as many friends spanning from Texas to Michigan. Mays was loved dearly by all his friends and family and could always be found with a smile and a kind word to say.
