Melisa Lane Warren passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 13, 2017. She was born on October 31, 1958 to Nancy Montgomery Hughes and Lloyd Wayne Hughes. She is survived by her husband, David Warren; Daughter, Jennifer Laird and Husband Billy; son Christopher Branch; stepsons Ryan & David Warren, Jr.; Granddaughters, Brittany Banks, Ashley Banks, Kira Branch and Emily Laird; Grandson, Ethan Laird; Sisters, Laurie McLellan and her husband Richard; Suzanne Donaldson and her fiance John; Brother, Lloyd Wayne Hughes Jr. and his wife Tina; Brother in Law, Dewayne Swiney; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family. She is preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Montgomery Hughes; Father, Lloyd Hughes; Sister, Sharon Swiney.

Melisa was a good step mother to my children and I will always be thankful to her for being a part of their lives. I'm very sorry for her family and their loss. I will be praying for all of you and for your peace. We will all be reunited one day and we will never have to say goodbye again.
