Melissa N. Tapp, 42 passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017. She graduated from LSU, received her Law Degree from Cumberland Law School and received her Masters Degree from Georgetown University. She is survived by her parents David and Sheryl Schwellinger; twin sister, Melody Bertrand; nephews, Andrew Ates and Thomas Bertrand; niece, Chloe Bertrand; grandmother, LaNell Gaylor and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 18, 2017 from 12-2 p.m. at Elmwood Chapel Funeral Home with graveside service following at 2 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery.
