I met Missy at the dog grooming facility in Douglassville. I was bald when I went in and she asked me if I had cancer. I was going through chemo for breast cancer at that time. We talked and exchanged phone numbers. We would keep in touch each month via phone or texting. This summer she told me her cancer had spread. I was away on 3 vacations (making up for last summer) when I got back I texted her twice and then called her cell, it was disconnected. I told her I would take her to lunch when I got back since she was unable to drive. I am sorry that never happend. I am so very sorry to hear about her passing. We had fun exchanging our cancer stories. She was worried about her daughter not having a Mother. I reassure her that her daughter would be loved by her Father and also carryon all the wonderful attributes Missy taught her. Peace be with her, she was taken too young!!

My deepest condolences to Missy's family....I was friends with Missy in high school and saw her a couple years ago at a friend's birthday party. It was like the years had never passed, she was right there with a big hug and smile. I am sad to know that you will be without her but glad to know she is free from pain. May God's strength and love surround you.

Missy was such a caring dog groomer. I only knew her a few years from taking Lucky, my granddaughter's dog, to be groomed. She was so good with Lucky and had such a positive attitude about her illness. She is truly missed and will never be forgotten.
