WOOD, Melita McCall, 84, of Montgomery, AL and formerly of Macon and Dublin, GA, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her father Ralph McCall, step-father Leon Andrews, mother Myrtle Andrews, husband Wendell Claude Wood, Sr., brother Charles McCall, and her son Christopher Scott Wood. She is survived by two children, Wendell Claude Wood, Jr., and Frances Elaine (Chuck) Hunt; brother, Lynwood Andrews; 8 grandchildren, Lauren Terry, Amanda Lake, Joy Shokes, Kari Merriken, Marshall Wood, Chad Hunt, Claude Hunt and Georgianna Hunt; 15 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Montgomery, AL.
A Graveside service will follow at 3:30 p.m. EDT at Lane Cemetery in Dooley County, GA.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in her honor to Common Ground, Montgomery www.cgmlife.org ,or Children's Hospital, Birmingham www.childrensal.org .
