I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love. Leo Buscaglia

Tita, you will always be in my thoughts and prayers. I've always been told that when I was very small you were always there to take care of me. I guess it's always been your nature to be nurturing and being there to care for others. May you rest in peace now and be taken cared of by all the angels, who i'm sure will welcome you in their arms.

Though I didn't personally know Mrs. Apilado,I know her sons Ryan and Eric. I have known Ryan since grade 7 and met Eric in high school. I can honestly say that both her sons are incredible guys. Not only are they extremely smart but they are also kind and thoughtful. They are always ready to help and very modest. If anything, I think this shows what a wonderful mother Mrs. Apilado was. I'm sorry that I never had the chance to meet her. I'd like to express my deepest condolences to the Apilado family and let them know that they will be in my prayers. Mrs. Apilado may you rest in peace.

To the Apilado family,
Our deepest sympathies at this time of sorrow.
Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on; cherished memories never fade because a loved one has gone. Those we love can never be more than a thought away, for as long as there is memory, they will live on in our hearts.
We will miss Melita's warm smile.

If tears could build a stairway
And memories were a lane,
I would walk right up to heaven
To bring you home again.
No farewell words were spoken.
No time to say good-bye.
You were gone before we knew it,
And only God knows why.
My heart still aches in sadness
And secret tears still flow.
What it meant to lose you,
No one will ever know.
Christmas won’t be the same this year
Your family will miss you tons.
but promise me one thing,
watch over your sons.
Tita we will miss you so much. You were one of the kindest titas in my childhood. I am very sorry for the years we were not able to keep in touch. Take care & I love you.

Ditse Lita, you have certainly lived a very fruitful and productive life. A happy memory of your family visiting us when we were in Utah, had a picnic by the park with Susan and her family too. We will miss you, but we know that you will be in a much happier place in Heaven where there is no more pain, problems, and suffering. Anthony Quijano

The last time I saw the Apilado family was five years ago, when we were living in Utah. I wish those 5 years didn't go by so fast.
My mom wrote about Tita Lita and mentioned that she was the editor in chief of her yearbook committee in high school, I hope that I'm gonna make her proud by becoming one next year.
"For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."
2 Corinthians 4:17-18
You're okay now Tita. We love you, watch over us.
