My Dear Dear Friend, some of my fondest memories are of the times we spent together doing what we did best, singing and playing music working in the ministry, You had one of those voices that just screamed out "I Love the Lord" You have touched many lives in your journey through this world, and I was one of them, I was just 17 when we started working together with Harrison Price, so thank you for all that you have done, be at peace with the Lord, and I will see you again soon.

I have such fond memories of uncle Melvin playing his guitar and singing praises to the Lord. He came from a family that loved God and this legacy lives on. Thank you for being a light in this dark world. I pray that we will continue to be the light and legacy that you began. We will miss you.

I didn't personally know this gentle, pleasant man very long. I met him and visited him Jan /2017. I will always remember Bev telling me how he would awake her up in the middle of the night singing. Not calling her, just singing to his Lord. So many patients when they are older get a bit grumpy. It sounded like this sweet man was not one of them. What a blessing that he loved to worship. Now he is with the angel band and free and eternally singing to the Lord.

Grandpa Melvin was truly an inspiration to me. I was blessed to witness in his final weeks how he stared death in the face and kept on singing to the glory of God. I love the assurance and confidence that he displayed in his Christian walk. He truly had a heart of worship. He is home with the Lord and we will be reunited again soon.

Uncle Melvin was the greatest Christian man I have ever known. He was sweet and so kind and I loved visiting with him. He could sing and wrote some beautiful songs. I loved to listen to hear him. I know he is in heaven with my daddy, Quentin, and his mom and dad and other brothers and sisters and they are rejoicing together. Love you dearly Uncle Melvin.

My favorite memory is whenever he saw me he would say "well there's splendid Linda"! I loved to hear him sing and play his guitar. I know he is having a great time in Heaven with his Dad and Mom, brothers, sisters and others who have gone on before. I love you Uncle Melvin and will see again someday soon!

Grandpa, I am reminded of your sincere faith, and your love for God. You were such a Godly example of how to give God praise. I will forever be grateful for the love you showed, the hugs and touch of your hand, the songs we sang and the laughs we shared. You will be missed but I know one day we will see your smile again.
I love you "that girl".
