Castro, Mercedes (nee Parrales) - Born June 6, 1929, passed away on January 14, 2014 with her family by her side at Mackenzie Health, Richmond Hill, Ontario. Beloved wife of the late Pedro Castro. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, grandaughter, family and friends. Friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home-Vaughan Chapel, 8088 Yonge Street (south of Hwy 7) on Friday, January 24, 2014 from 11-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at St. Philip Neri Roman Catholic Church, 2100 Jane Street, Toronto, Ontario. Interment to be held at Beechwood Memorial Gardens (Jane and 407).
