Merilee Ann Davidson Merilee Ann Davidson born Nov ember 20, 1953, departed this life Tuesday, September 25, 2012. Merilee was a longtime resident first of Burtonsville and then of Ellicott City. Merilee was a pharmaceutical hospital representative working for Merck covering a wide area of several counties. Merilee Ann Davidson

Merilee Ann Davidson born Nov ember 20, 1953, departed this life Tuesday, September 25, 2012. Merilee was a longtime resident first of Burtonsville and then of Ellicott City.

Merilee was a pharmaceutical hospital representative working for Merck covering a wide area of several counties.

Merilee spent her early life in the Far East growing up on the Island of Java in Indonesia, the daughter of missionary parents. Her elementary education was provided by her mother and other missionary mothers who cooperated in home schooling. Secondary education required her to live in Singapore where she spent all four years at Singapore American School. For College, she studied one year at William Jewell in Liberty, Missouri, and three years at University of Illinois at Champagne, where she was granted a Bachelor of Science Degree. Later she earned an M. B. A. at San Francisco State University.

She was married to Dr. Philip Davidson, a faculty member at Michigan State, and later at Catholic
University of America in Washington, D. C. He preceded her in death in 2004.

She is survived by her three sons, Travis, Braden and Devon, and an informally adopted son, Pat Upman, all living in the immediate area; one grandson, Isaac the son of Travis Davidson; two brothers, Mark of Mesa, Arizona, and Clark of Knoxville, Tennessee; her mother and father, Dr. and Mrs. G. W. Schweer of Fairfield, California; her former mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Minor Davidson of Timonium, Maryland; her devoted companion, Bob Meisenhelder; two nieces, and a host of friends and loved ones.

Visitation and memorial services will be held at the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., 7250 Washington Boulevard, Elk Ridge, MD, 21075 (exit 6 at route 100) on Sunday September 30, 2012. Visitations are from 2-4 and from 6-8. Memorial Services will begin at 8:00 p. m.

Merilee's sudden and untimely departure has left a huge void in the hearts of many of us. She will not soon be forgotten.
