Im very sorry to hear about Mrs Bakers death. She was always very kind to me. I loved walking down to your business from my Dads business a few doors down back in the 80's to talk to Mrs Baker and Royce, and to play with Mac if he was around. Mr Baker was a great coach to me for baseball and Mrs Baker was always me and Macs biggest fan. Love all of you. Tony Oswald

Royce, I just found out today about Merle's death. I am so sorry I didn't even know she was sick. I talked to her about 7 months ago & she didn't mention being sick. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. We always had so much fun in high school. I loved her like a sister and will miss her terribly.

In 1976, the Wetumpka High School annual was dedicated to this beautiful lady and wonderful teacher. She was one of those teachers you never forget. Years go by and you lose touch, but the memory is always there.
